VST is a video content distribution technology that delivers a true home cinema experience with the unsurpassed quality and convenience of DVD enabling fans to access match highlights from anywhere and at anytime.
The latest match highlights are automatically appended direct-to-disc with pre-authored navigation giving fans easy access to all the action at a few touches of a button.
After the final whistle blows, fans can store premium quality content on a tangible and collectable format suitable for viewing on any standard DVD player.
In the same way fans can temporarily record match highlights using, for example, Sky, VST enables users to append and store content on a permanent basis using portable media and without being tethered to a dedicated device in a fixed location. (Sky+ ‘on the move’).
Unlike Sky+ (and similar services), VST delivers downloadable content with pre-authored navigation giving users (a) the ability to instantaneously jump from one chapter to another (b) the flexibility to experience the content in different sequences or to (c) access a specific highlight at a few touches of a button.
Content is seamlessly appended direct-to-disc using both Windows and Mac operating systems creating discs compliant for playback on any standard DVD / TV combination.

VST not only addresses the needs of users hungry for high quality, regularly updated material automatically stored direct-to-disc, but it also enables content providers to limit unauthorised online distribution. This is accomplished by keeping a record of the content a user has downloaded. Any attempt by a single subscription ID to download the same piece of content more than once, indicating a copy, will be denied and invalidate the user's future entitlement to updates. This makes the sharing of IDs and passwords senseless.
VST provides a potential new revenue stream for both broadcast rights holders and content owners.

Whether it be an increased subscription package cost or one-off payments, VST enables rights holders / content owners (a) to offer premium quality evolving content to their existing audience and (b) a means of attracting new subscribers and penetrating new markets.
VST is a comprehensive and cost effective solution to extended content distribution as no production, storage or shipping of media is required, neither are any additional user configuration systems or software needed.
Fans are given the opportunity to access and retain premium quality content in a tangible and collectable format. VST offers the ultimate in sport viewing products as each fan's club's DVD evolves as the action unfolds becoming something to cherish and collect.
No download manager is required nor must users be tethered to a fixed location / device. Content can be accessed from any internet connection worldwide at any time. Playback on standard DVD players ensures truly compelling viewing.
For example the Virtual Season Ticket concept can move beyond the sporting arena and into the entertainment domain as traditional DVD sales decline and the prevalence of downloadable content increases. For example, instead of producing DVDs at the end of a TV series, content owners can offer viewers the ability to download each episode on an evolving basis as the series progresses.
By clicking the platform buttons below, you’ll be able to generate an example simulation of how a season or competition can be enjoyed as it evolves.
The demonstration content used is the last three stages of the recent football World Cup Competition.
After downloading and launching the application (by opening the VST icon on your desktop or in your downloads folder), simply follow the on-screen instructions to automatically download and burn the QUARTER FINALS to DVD. This may then be viewed on any compliant player in true DVD quality.
You may note that if the SEMI FINALS or FINAL are selected, you're informed that these matches do not exist as they're yet to be played.
Of course, since this competition has finished, the remaining matches are available to append to your demo DVD immediately. In reality, only after the matches have been played can they be added.
To add the SEMI FINALS simply insert your DVD into any Windows or Mac computer and navigate to, and open, the VST icon now located on the DVD itself.
Again, follow the on-screen instructions to append the latest matches to DVD.
Similarly, repeat the above process to complete the DVD by appending the FINAL.

Recommendations:
Always use NEW DVD-RW or DVD+RW media. DVD-RW is recommended for best performance and compatibility with standard set-top players.
Check that your DVD set-top player is configured to play the relevant format (NTSC/PAL) and region code.
It may be necessary to disable any firewall should access to servers be denied.
What equipment do I need?
You need an internet connection and a DVD writer installed on your computer. The faster the internet connection the better. In general, a cable or DSL connection will be required if the time delay is to be manageable. The process of creating a DVD requires a great deal of data to be downloaded and processed. You will also need a re-writable DVD of a format that your drive supports. Unfortunately, not all DVD players support all DVD/RWs. We recommend you check the manual for your DVD player to determine which formats are supported. Please also check System Requirements for full details of the types of computer and hardware that are supported.
What type of discs will work?
Both DVD+RW and DVD-RW are supported.
What extra software do I need?
None! Simply download the correct version for your operating system. Please check the System Requirements for full details.
Will this work on Mac as well as Windows?
Yes, just ensure you click the correct link / icon for your Operating System (Windows or Mac).
If my download or burn fails, or I lose my connection, will I need to re-purchase the DVD and download everything again?
Fortunately, no, the VST program for your subscription will remain on your computer until the content has successfully burned to disc.
How much hard drive space do I need to create a DVD?
Our software utilises approximately 15 gigabytes of free space on your hard drive during the process of creating a DVD. This is automatically freed up once the DVD is successfully created.
